The motorized Draper Signature or Series V - HDTV Format Electric Projector Screen has a viewing surface which is flame and mildew resistant, clean appearance of a ceiling-recessed screen and the independently aluminum ceiling closure disappears into the white extruded aluminum case when screen is lowered. The Electric Projector Screen features tab-tensioning system that holds the surface taut and wrinkle-free. The bottom of surface is supported and masked by black extruded aluminum dowel weighted to apply proper vertical tension. The top of surface is masked by 12 inch black drop. It has a extruded aluminum case with white finish and bottom of case is fully enclosed by aluminum panels. The bottom closure panel is attached to screen case with screws and independently motorized trap door is attached with completely concealed hinges. Trap door supported along both the front and back edges for entire length, (with no crack left between door and case) and automatically opens into case when screen is operated in down direction. Bottom closure and trap door may be removed manually to allow access to roller and drive assembly.

The electrically operated 60 hertz, 110-120 Volts AC, five wire motor is mounted inside screen roller. The motor is instantly reversible, lifetime lubricated with internal thermal over load protector and electric brake. This quiet motor creates less than 44 decibel noise with preset, accessible limit switches. The three position control switch stops or reverse screen at any point in operating cycle and switch is furnished with cover plate. The metal roller is mounted with sound-absorbing fixtures.
