The ceiling-recessed front Draper Access/Series V - Widescreen Format Electric Projector Screen has a viewing surface which is flame and mildew resistant. The each side of surface has tab-guide cable system for even lateral tension and flat surface. Bottom of surface is supported and masked by black extruded aluminum dowel weighted to apply proper vertical tension. The top of viewing surface is masked by 12 inch black drop. It features extrude aluminum case with white finish. The end caps are stamped steel and bottom panel forms slot for passage of viewing surface which is easily removable for access. The case is mounted with 3/8 inch threaded rod, with lag screws through brackets, or with wire in a grid ceiling. The mounting brackets slide in channels on top of case allowing brackets to move which avoid interference with conflicting building structures. Brackets are locked in position by tightening screws and also angled to meet installation requirements.
The roller/fabric assembly is installed in case at factory or job site. Brackets supporting roller/fabric assembly to slide in track inside top of case allows viewing surface centered in case regardless of screen size. Electrically operated 110-120 volts AC, 60 hertz thee wire motor mounted inside the screen roller. Motor is instantly reversible, lifetime lubricated, with internal thermal over load protector and electric brake. The quiet motor creating less than 44 decibel noise, with preset, accessible limit switches and built-in low voltage controller.
The symmetrical housing of Electric Projector Screen allows for left or right-hand motor location, and for viewing surface to unroll from the back or front of the roller. The housing includes bottom flange for trim around edges of ceiling opening. Housing feature internal junction box, allowing it to installed and wired to building supply wires at an early stage of construction. The junction box has plug-in style connector, accepting the mating half of the connector from the motorized roller/fabric assembly. The three position control switch to stop or reverse screen at any point and switches are furnished with cover plate.
