The surface of the Da-Lite Video Format Pearlescent Tensioned Contour Electrol Screen utilizes an unsupported vinyl creating a very smooth pearlescent coating that provides high reflectivity and brilliance without loss of image quality or resolution. The screen fabric is flame retardant and mildew resistant. The bottom of fabric is formed into a pocket holding a 3/8 inch metal rod.
This Electric Projector Screen is electrically operated with a motor mounted inside a roller with a patented noise silencer. The silencer is a three-wire quick reversal type, oiled for life, with automatic thermal overload cut-out, integral gears, and capacitor. The preset, but adjustable limit switches can be used to automatically stop the picture surface in the "up" and "down" positions. A junction box is integrated into the housing making it possible to install the housing and wire to the building's electrical system during construction. The junction box contains a four prong connector that is mounted in the housing for easy plug-in connection to the motorized fabric and roller assembly. The roller is made of rigid metal, and is 3 inches in diameter. The adjustable roller mounting brackets allow centering or offsetting of the screen within the case. The screen case is a two piece design made of extruded aluminum. The screen includes a three-position control switch and a cover plate. It is listed by Underwriters' laboratories.
This screen is available in a range of diagonal viewing sizes. The veneer case cover is available in different finishes. Choose from two operating voltages and case colors. Single motor low voltage control system, serial control board, infrared remote, wall controller, Ethernet adapter, and video projector interface are optional.
