This electrically operated Da-Lite Square Format Da-Tex Tensioned Contour Electrol Screen features preset, but adjustable limit switches to automatically stop the picture surface in the up and down positions. The junction box is integrated into the housing making it possible to install the housing and wire to the building's electrical system during construction. The junction box contains a four-prong connector that is mounted in the housing for easy plug-in connection to the motorized fabric and roller assembly, and this is installed in the case at the factory or at a later time at the job site. The roller is of rigid metal, which is 3-3/16 inch in diameter. The roller mounting brackets is adjustable to allow centering or offsetting of the screen within the case. Screen case is a two piece design, made of extruded aluminum.

The Da-Tex Flexible fabric screen a translucent, neutral gray vinyl surface that offers high transmission and low reflectance values for optimal viewing. It yields excellent color rendition, image contrast and a wide viewing angle. It is suitable for all types of rear projection. The screen is ideally suited for both lace and grommet and snap button type screens. The material needs to be tensioned. Screen surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Screen surface retracts completely into the case for a clean, modern appearance when screen is not in use. The screen fabric is flame retardant and mildew resistant and comes with black masking borders standard. Each side of fabric has a tab guide cable system to maintain even lateral tension and hold surface flat. The bottom of the fabric is inserted into a custom aluminum slat bar with added weight to provide vertical tension on the screen surface. The ends of the slat is protected by heavy duty plastic caps. Screen is included a three-position control switch and cover plate. The motor is mounted inside the roller with a patented noise silencer. This also features three-wire quick reversal type, oiled for life, with automatic thermal overload cut-out, integral gears, and capacitor.
