Ideal for home theaters or where a variety of image formats are projected, this Da-Lite HDTV to NTSC Video Format Da-Mat Tensioned Dual Masking Electrol Screen features a patented in-the-roller motor mounting system for quiet operation and unique step-back masking design to eliminate shadows. The screen is electrically operated with two specially designed motors, mounted inside two rollers, which are of three-wire quick reversal type, oiled for life, with automatic thermal overload cutout, integral gears, capacitor and an electric brake to prevent coasting. The pre-set, but adjustable limit switches automatically stop picture surfaces in the "up" and "down" positions. The fabric roller is made of rigid aluminum, 3-3/16 inches in diameter. The mask roller is made of rigid metal, 3 inches in diameter.

The Da-Mat is a smooth, white, vinyl finish surface for precise image reproduction. It provides an exceptionally wide angle of view with little loss of resolution. It is a highly flexible unsupported vinyl fabric and may be folded or rolled. The screen fabric is seamless, flame retardant and mildew resistant vinyl, Each side of the fabric have a tab guide cable system to maintain even lateral tension and hold surface flat. The masking fabric on the sides, convert the screen to video format. Bottom of fabric is inserted into an aluminum slat bar with added weight to maintain vertical tension on the screen surface. The ends of the aluminum slat are protected by heavy duty plastic caps. The bottom of each masking fabric is formed into a pocket holding a flat steel bar. The case is of wood and finished with a black primer coat, ready to accept final finish by others. The Electric Projector Screen is complete with a three position control switch and a two position control switch in a box with cover plate. The screen is listed by Underwriters' Laboratories.
