This Da-Lite Da-Plex Deluxe Square Format Rear Projector Screen substrate is clear acrylic plastic. The acrylic base is breakage resistance, lightweight, and easy to handle. Optical quality is high and gives superior transmission. Diffusion coating is permanently bonded to the substrate. It cannot peel off like laminated film or vinyl based diffusion screens. This polacoat ultra screen is designed for a long, useful life. Less than 0.004 inch thick chemically-bonded optical coating is permanent and will not turn yellow, deteriorate or peel off. The base frame features an impressive architectural design that adds sophistication to any installation and a dovetail frame that eliminates light leakage.
