The acrylic base is breakage resistance, lightweight, easy to handle, has high optical quality, and gives superior transmission. Diffusion coating is permanently bonded to the substrate. It cannot peel off like laminated film or vinyl based diffusion screens. The base frame of Rear Projector Screen features mitered corners that eliminate rear light leaks without caulking. It is constructed of lightweight extruded aluminum U-channel with a black anodized finish. This polacoat ultra screen is designed for a long, useful life.
