Developed with the installation process in mind, this Da-Lite Advantage Video Format manual projector screen provides the convenience and flexibility of installing the case and fabric/roller assemblies at separate stages of construction. A floating mounting method utilizing adjustable roller brackets is designed into the lightweight, extruded white aluminum case allowing the centering or offsetting of the screen. Finished case edges provide a clean look and comfortable build-in of ceiling tiles. This Manual Projector Screen is equipped with the patented CSR system (Controlled Screen Return). Offered exclusively by Da-Lite, CSR ensures a quiet, controlled return of the screen into the case. This hands-free feature provides optimal performance and smooth consistent operation. Designed for ceiling recessed installation, this Manual Projector Screen, with black masking borders standard on flame retardant and mildew resistant fabric, can be mounted on a ball bearing rigid steel spring roller. Fabric is permanently attached to roller by metal clips on fabric edge being forced into groove in roller. There is a clip in every 3 inch along the fabric edge and double clips are used on the ends. Top, front, and back of case to be made of extruded aluminum. End caps to be of heavy gauge steel with provisions for attaching mounting hardware. Bottom of case has a removable access door. Bottom of case is self-trimming, with a built-in flange around the bottom of the case. Bottom of screen is formed into pocket holding tubular metal slat. An extruded aluminum saddle with zinc plated steel pull is attached to the slat by four screws on each end. Heavy-duty plastic caps shall protect the ends of the slat. Metal bumper stops, padded with sponge rubber, are built into the case to prevent slat wedging inside case. Roller mounting brackets are adjustable to allow centering or offsetting the screen within the case. A 6-feet pull cord with plastic knob is included.
